Rebuilding Together is a national project to ehlp elderly and disabled homeowners restore their homes to a warm, safe and dry condition. In Chicago, more than 1000 volunteers turned out on April 26 to rebuild scores of homes in West Englewood and south suburban Markham. Chicago’s skilled trades turn out in force to make it possible. Lots of people owe lots of thanks to the men and women of Carpenters Local 13, IBEW Local 134 and Plumbers Local 130.
