UVUs Center for the Advancement of Leadership welcomes Egil Bud Krogh, leader of the Nixon special investigation unit later known as The Plumbers,. Kroghs address, titled Watergate, Elvis and Everest: Integrity Lessons from the Mother of Scandals, the King of Rock and the Mountain Goddess of the World, will address, among other things, his involvement in what may be the biggest scandal in American history. Under President Nixon, Krogh was assigned to lead The Plumbers in investigating leaks of top secret government documents, mostly from the Pentagon to the press. Now that group is widely known as making possible the Watergate Scandal that led to the end of Nixons public leadership. Bud Krogh has seen leadership from just about every angle the top, the bottom and everywhere in between, said Bruce Jackson, director of the Center for the Advancement of Leadership. From serving as a Naval officer, attorney and deputy director of the Nixon White House, Bud has become an expert in the area of integrity, ethics and what it takes identify and hold true to core values.
