Wall Street is not on welfare. The bailout is the government spending $700 billion to PURCHASE mortgages from those companies. Buying a product is not a handout or welfare. The Government will then sell those mortgages down the road, therefore getting the money returned. That’s a far, far cry from being the same as a welfare recipient. The stimulus checks were not a handout, it was given to people who work and pay taxes, it was an additional tax return, not welfare. You need to get educated.
